Auctions sale boost

AFTER a slow start to December, Gold Coast auctions have picked up the pace.

Four properties cracked $1 million sales over the weekend, including a five-bedroom, three-bathroom Isle of Capri home that changed hands for $1.5 million, and a duplex pair in Miami that went under the hammer for $1.29 million.

Preliminary property data shows Queensland’s auction clearance rate was 41 per cent, up from 36 per cent for the week prior.
