Seabank’s $34m sale

- Business, P21

SOUTHPORT’S landmark Seabank office building has sold for more than $34 million.

A Sydney syndicate snapped up the building, which has been in the hands of receivers since 2012.

The 11-floor tower, which counts the Gold Coast Bulletin as a tenant, last sold for $40 million in 2006 to Brisbane commercial property tycoon Albert Chung. Receivers were appointed to Mr Chung’s group of companies six years’ later.
