Tina’s cheer for chief role
THE Carolina Panthers have appointed former cheerleader Tina Becker as their new chief operating officer, making her one of the highest-ranking female executives at an NFL team.
The news comes the day after owner Jerry Richardson said he would sell the team at the end of the season, amid allegations of workplace misconduct against him which is being investigated by the NFL.
Becker has been with the franchise since 1999 in a variety of positions.
