Man ‘out to burgle’
A MAN has been charged with possession of house breaking implements after Tweed/Byron police found him acting suspiciously.
At 1pm on December 13 police spotted the 40-year-old man at Kennedy Dr in Tweed Heads.
When they spoke to the man, they allegedly found four small screwdrivers, two pairs of scissors, a fork, a folding multi-tool, a torch and allen keys. Police will allege that the items can be used to break into homes.
The man will appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on January 8, 2018.
