Murals for tram route

THE pedestrian and cycle path on the second stage of the light rail route will soon feature two new murals.

Artist June Hintz yesterday inspected the first mural site, which is expected to feature an underwater-themed piece.

The second mural is due for completion early next year and is expected to feature images that are quintessentially Gold Coast.

Both sites are visible from the Smith St Motorway and will be 3m high.
