New charge over arson

A FOURTH man has been charged over an Anzac Day fire that caused $7 million of damage to a Tallebudgera private school almost two years ago.

A 20-year-old Burleigh Waters man was yesterday charged with one count of arson of St Andrew’s Lutheran College on April 25, 2016.

A 19-year-old Tallebudgera man and a 20 year-old Coolangatta man were this week also charged over the same fire. Paul Hamstra, 20, of Mermaid Beach has also faced court charged with two counts of arson related to the school blaze.
