Coast teen’s Ballina bid

PROMISING Gold Coaster Sean Ingham will attempt to hold his spot in the top-10 ranked players in the country when he defends his Ballina Summerland Pairs title this week.

Ingham, from Broadbeach, is again teaming with Helensvale teenager Jayden Christie, ranked right behind at No. 11, after their success last year.

Considered among the next wave of talent vying for Jackaroos berths, Ingham faces a breakout year in 2018.

Ballina’s pairs event is the last ranking one on the regular calendar.
