MICHAEL Hughes takes out fish of the week this week.

He sent me this photo of a cracking jewfish caught just before Christmas.

There are a heap around this size at the moment so try in the Seaway using live bait, especially on the incoming tide.

There have also been some heat catches of kingfish and mangrove jack using the same method. If you have caught a fish you’re proud of sent it to me at lbradnam@nine.com.au I’d love to share it with the GC!
