If sports stars are your thing then the GOLDOC Ball in November at The Star was the place to be. Besides some of the world’s greatest athletes, the night also doubled as a fund-raiser for our own, home grown charity the Gold Coast Community Fund. A staggering $358,000 was raised on the night with well over 99 per cent of that money going directly to deserving locals in need.
