GLAM IT UP

-

LOOK OUT – Gai’s girls are coming back.

Global Glamour – the horse owned by almost 40 women spread over seven countries – is primed for another crack at the Magic Millions race day on the Gold Coast on Saturday week.

Global Glamour finished second in the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas last year and has been a pin-up girl for the world-first female ownership promotion, Magic Racing Women.

The mare confirmed her readiness for the 2018 Magic Millions day in a brilliant trial display last Friday.

The stable of co-trainers Gai Waterhouse (pictured) and Adrian Bott has locked in a big team of runners for the $10 million Magic Millions day.

They include

(Cup), Multitude Millions Arbeitsam and Dark Eyes (2200m Trophy), Dinnigan (Maiden or Guineas), Sweet Redemption (Fillies and Mares) and Sedanzer (most likely Trophy).

Bott said a decision was yet to be made on which race Global Glamour would run in – either the Magic Millions M Snippets (1200m) or Magic Millions Fillies and Mares (1300m).

Both races are run under set weights and penalty conditions. Nominations for those races close on Wednesday, with weights released next Monday.

“We will make a decision after looking at the nominations and weights and see where she’s best placed. She’s versatile enough to run in either of them,” Bott said.

“She was hugely impressive in the trial.

“We wanted to give her a good hitout and have her ready to go first-up. She’s come out of the trial well and appears to be spot on.”

Waterhouse and Bott will now try to qualify Terminology for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic (1200m).

She takes on the highly rated Sunlight at the Gold Coast on Saturday in a last-ditch attempt to qualify for the Millions.
