Moped rider hurt

A MOPED rider was treated for a leg injury after colliding with a car in the heart of Surfers Paradise yesterday. The incident took place on the corner of Thornton St and Garfield Tce at 2.49pm.

A couple of hours earlier a person was injured after jumping from a boat into the water at MacArthur Parade, Main Beach at 12.46pm. The patient received an injury to their wrist.
