Captain keen to spark up

SUZY Batkovic was kept under wraps last time they met but the Townsville Fire captain has declared she’s determined to hit back at Sydney when it matters most in tonight’s WNBL semi-final in Townsville.

Batkovic was restricted to nine points as the Flames thrashed the Fire 107-81 last week to set up home court advantage in the three-game series.

But the first game is in north Queensland and Batkovic desperately wants to atone for last week’s “tough day at the office”.
