RACEHORSES DOWN THE BEACH

The Magic Millions race day barrier draws and racehorse beach run is on at Surfers Paradise this morning. 7.30am: Champion jockey Hugh Bowman will carry the Commonwealth Games baton at the front of the pack down the beach; 8.15am: Bowman will join a dozen other jockeys to race on horseback down the beach near Cavill Mall;

8.30am: Royal Zara Phillips will conduct the barrier draws for the Magic Millions race day’s Two Year Old Classic and Three Year Old Guineas.
