ROAR OF DELIGHT AS DINOSAURS COME TO LIFE

- HANNAH SBEGHEN hannah.sbeghen@news.com.au

THE Gold Coast Arts Centre is taking a giant, prehistoric step back in time and it has kids running and screaming. One word: dinosaurs. But don’t worry, they don’t bite. It’s all part of Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo, which includes more that 30 lifelike dinosaurs that are all native to Queensland.

Mother-of-two Emma Bain said her boys Ashton and Tyson Wardrop couldn’t get enough of it.

“They are big Jurassic Park fans so I think their dreams have just come to life,” she said.

“They know the dinosaurs are puppets but they are so lifelike they just want to believe it.”

Erth’s producer and director Scott Wright said kids weren’t “just getting a kick out of it, they are also learning about the dinosaurs that roamed around Queensland”.

Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo will host the dinosaur show today and Thursday.
