Time to Packer away ring, Mariah

JUST days after reports emerged that Aussie billionaire James Packer wants the $13 million engagement ring he gave ex-fiancee Mariah Carey back, the singer turned up on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing it.

More than a year after the pair ended their relationship, Carey continues to wear the flashy 35-carat diamond ring, showing it off as she walked the ruby rug.

Reports emerged last week that Packer – who is now dating New York model and socialite Kylie Lim – has asked his team to reach out to Carey and demand it back.

The 47-year-old singer is also reportedly in a relationship with dancer Brian Tanaka, but that hasn’t stopped her from brandishing the pricey bling. Packer proposed to Carey with the enormous emerald cut diamond set in New York in January 2016. The pair called off their engagement in October 2016.

The businessman, who turned 50 in October, said he was not in a good place when he started dating Carey.

“I was at a low point in my personal life,” Packer said.
