RSPCA seek help in tragic case

-

DO YOU recognise this dog?

The RSPCA is calling on anyone with information to help locate her former owners.

Ten-year-old American Bulldog cross Chyna was dumped at the Wacol shelter on November 24.

When vets checked her over, they found her soccerball sized tumour was inoperable and infected.

Vets said her organs were failing and she had liver issues so the difficult decision was made to euthanise her.

Spokesman Michael Beatty said Chyna was quite recognisable. “We’d like to find out what happened,” he said. “Someone must recognise her. The only lead we had proved fruitless. She was in appalling condition.”

Chyna had a microchip which had been originally registered to an address in Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast.

Anyone with information is urged to call 1300 ANIMAL.
