Man dies on NT trail

A TOURIST has died while hiking the popular Larapinta Trail, west of Alice Springs.

The 33-year-old Californian was reported missing late on Wednesday after taking a wrong turn on the trail near Mount Sonder. His body was located at the base of the mountain just after 5pm with the cause of death undisclosed.
