Famous faces grace the crowd

-

THE rich Magic Millions yearling sale always draws a crowd and some famous faces too. Former Penthouse Pet of the Year Suzi Taylor, more recently on The Block reality TV show, drew plenty of attention, and tells the Bulletin she went in on a share of a horse.

“I’m slowly getting into the business. I was a Miss Magic Millions you know,” she cooed. The divorced mother of three wouldn’t divulge when, saying with a laugh it was a secret or everyone “would know my age. I’ve got lots of secrets”.

Former NZ cricket captain Brendon McCullum, who has a stud back in NZ, was also wandering the yards.

Broadcaster Alan Jones was spotted on opening day. Ditto Olympic swimming champion Dawn Fraser, who once infamously told our very own Bernard Tomic and fellow tennis brat packer Nick Kyrgios to “go back to where their fathers or parents came from” before later apologising.

Asked if she’d watch Tomic’s Australian Open qualifying match later that day she said: “Don’t think so, I’ll be here”.
