RECENT RAINS BRING BASS ON THE BITE BIG FLATTIES A TARGET IN TWEED RIVER

THE bass love the heavy rain we have recently had and are biting well early morning in Hinze Dam. Try spinners and surface lures.

Big bass have been taken this week in the Coomera River near the weir and worth a shot around Clear Island Waters and the Q Super Centre too. HAD a mate get a good feed of tailor off the rocks at Burleigh on dawn through the week and he was the only one fishing.

Big flatties are in the Tweed River as well as good size muddies.

Offshore, the mackerel are around Mermaid and Palm Beach Reef, quality pearl perch have been taken on the 50 fathom reef as well.
