MELISSA’S LOVE FOR MAGIC RACE

WE GCers rightfully get very excited about the Magic Millions carnival but how does it rate with out-of-towners? We asked Melissa Hoyer (pictured above, left, with Anna Lukyanova), lifestyle and social commentator for News Limited, what she thinks of our big day. “This is like no other race day in Australia. What I really love is that while it is very relaxed, the women especially go to so much trouble. The fashions are stunning, everyone makes an effort and while they adhere to a great dress code they manage to put so much colour and fun into their outfits that it creates a fantastic atmosphere for everyone. Best of all it gets better every year. I love it!”
