Girl banned for dog kick

A TEENAGE girl has been banned from buying a dog for two years after she pleaded guilty to repeatedly kicking a pet dog and sharing a video of the attack on social media.

Claire Elizabeth West, 17, filmed herself kicking the canine several times and making threats near Rockhampton on Saturday.

West pleaded guilty to one count of animal cruelty, where she was also given a two-year probation order.
