Holden teams up with Ford to save lives
IT’S probably one of the first partnerships between Holden and Ford the country has ever seen.
Surf Life Saving Australia president Graham Ford was yesterday handed the keys to one of 22 four-wheel-drive Holden cars to be distributed across the country as part of a lucrative three-year sponsorship deal with the motoring company.
Holden joins Surf Life Savspond ing Australia’s stable of major sponsors which includes the Westpac Banking Corporation and courier company DHL.
“Their investment will support our surf life savers to re- with assistance in emergency situations,” Mr Ford said at Kurrawa SLSC.
The Colorado 4WD ute has become the official patrol vehicle of SLSA.
GM Holden spokesman Michael Filazzola said Australia’s 200 Holden dealerships would actively promote surf safety messages.
