STAYING CLASSY WITH ELEGANCE

-

WE asked one of the judges, who chooses to remain anonymous, what are the big no-nos for a Fashions on the Field entrant. “They need to dress appropriately for their body shape, not display too much cleavage and make sure their skirt or dress isn’t riding too high. Elegance and style are the key things.” Chief judge on the day was Mary Poulakis from Harrolds who was mightily impressed by the high standard. “They were remarkable even more so because they managed to keep their hair and make-up in place in that heat.” And the award for most valuable outfit has to go to compere Candice Dixon. Nothing to do with her clothes but the $1.6 million Calleija ear piece she had casually swinging from her left lobe. Makes any outfit look sooo much better.
