Ange takes reins in Japan

FORMER Socceroos coach Ange Postecoglou has been formally introduced as head coach of the J-League’s Yokohama F. Marinos.

The 52-year-old, who announced his shock resignation from the national job in November, weeks after guiding his side through a lengthy qualifying campaign for this year’s World Cup in Russia, said he was eager to start.

“Our goal is to make Yokohama F. Marinos a team everyone else will fear,” Postecoglou said.
