Island pub up for sale

-

ONE of Australia’s last privately owned oceanfront pubs – the Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel and Resort Spa – is being sold for the first time in more than 20 years.

North Stradbroke Island’s sole watering hole, at Point Lookout, is being sold by Gold Coast developer Bob Hill.

CBRE Hotels’ Paul Fraser said Mr Hill was selling the freehold and business of the hotel and resort, as well as the management rights of units on the property. The 3267sq m site includes a main bar, bistro, beer garden, gaming room, TAB, function room, bottle shop and accommodation.
