Close call in resort pool

A YOUNG girl was treated in hospital as a precaution after she was found lying face down in a resort pool.

Paramedics were called to Palazzo Versace about 3.30pm yesterday to reports of a neardrowning.

Paramedics worked on the young girl and transported her to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile a teenage girl was treated at Main Beach for a shoulder injury after coming off a jet ski around 3pm.
