REIQ push for training

THE Real Estate Industry of Queensland wants the State Government to deliver on its promise of mandatory training for real estate professionals in its first 100 days.

The REIQ said Treasurer Jackie Trad committed to continuing professional development in the industry in the lead-up to the election.

The REIQ said the education was crucial for compliant, professional agents.

“Mandatory CPD is an important consumer protection measure and will help ensure that all real estate practitioners are educated about the laws,” said REIQ CEO Antonia Mercorella.
