SOMETHING of a coup for the local film industry with Event Cinemas at Pacific Fair chosen to host the Queensland premiere of new Australian film Swinging Safari. Director Stephan Elliott (of
Priscilla Queen of the Desert fame) was on hand with one of the stars Atticus Robb and a host of co-stars. A homage of sorts to the much maligned 1970s, the film is a fun-filled romp from go to whoa. Judging by the audience reaction and huge laughs throughout the screening, this is going to be another hit for Stephan and his team.
