ON YOUR BIKE BOROBI

WITH a little help from GC2018 mascot Borobi, the Queen’s Baton was showcased to tennis fans at the Australian Open in Melbourne yesterday.

Today it starts its journey to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road.

Climbing the Adelaide Oval Roof and being part of the Tour Down Under cycling event will round out the Queen’s Baton’s first four weeks in Australia.

Next week it will revert to the traditional relay.

Starting from Canberra, the Queen’s Baton will travel through each state and territory in the hands of 3,800 baton bearers.
