Sirotkin gets Williams nod
SERGEY Sirotkin has been chosen ahead of Robert Kubica to drive for Williams in this year’s Formula One championship.
The 22-year-old Russian will form the most inexperienced line-up on the grid with 19-year-old Canadian Lance Stroll. Sirotkin, who was a test driver for Sauber in 2014 and Renault in 2016 and 2017, will replace Brazilian Felipe Massa.
After Massa retired at the end of last season, Kubica, 33, had hoped to get the seat.
