School talks Max’s lingo

MAX Christmas, veteran realtor, has aborted efforts to sell a floor of his former agency’s offices after failing to find a buyer who talks the right dollar language.

Instead, he’s found a tenant who talks the right leasing rate, a language school, and has let the space in the heart of Surfers Paradise for three years.

The floor, atop La Promenade in Orchid Ave, drew a $500,000 bid at a November auction and later a higher offer that did not cut the mustard with Max.
