Pocock for rehab room

DAVID Pocock’s long-awaited return to Australian rugby will be delayed by one more month after the star flanker went under the knife to fix a knee problem last week.

Pocock – who spent 2017 on a sabbatical in Africa, the US and Japan – arrives back in Canberra today to rejoin the Brumbies but it is expected he will miss the first four rounds of Super Rugby.

He had wanted to “hit the ground running” but instead he will be hobbling into the rehab room.
