Big boost for big clash

THE Sixers and the Renegades have each received boosts ahead of tonight’s crunch Big Bash clash, with Australian players released for the match.

Travis Head and Alex Carey flew to Melbourne yesterday to represent the Strikers after being left out of Australia’s side to face England.

Cameron White returns for the Renegades after he was offered the opportunit­y to play in the crunch game before the national squad regroups in Adelaide on Wednesday.

Renegades opener Aaron Finch is not available because of personal matters but Brad Hodge and Kieron Pollard both return. The Renegades are fourth on the ladder.

Adelaide are chasing a home final and a win tonight will put them first.
