-

PROMISING young North Gold Coast player Tara Manumaleuga has been included in the four-day Basketball Australia Athlete Development Camp.

Running until Thursday in Canberra, the camp features 40 male and female athletes, 17 coaches as well as the Emerging Rollers in attendance.

The ADC offers a mechanism to identify future Australian Boomers and Opals as well as assess potential scholarship holders for the Centre of Excellence. BILLY Dib is confident of hosting a world title showdown against American Tevin Farmer in Sydney after a drugs controversy engulfed champion Kenichi Ogawa.

Japan’s Ogawa tested positive for two forms of androstanediol (synthetic testosterone) after he controversially defeated Farmer by split decision last month to win the IBF World super-featherweight title.

Officials are now awaiting Ogawa’s B sample to return, though he has already been suspended.
