Bond to ‘wow’ on the pitch
“We are going to play a brand of rugby that is going to put us in a really good position to make the finals,” Anderson said. “We are really looking for our players to express themselves on the field.
“We have given them a little bit of structure to play to but I think the talent we have got in the team this year, we just want them to really express that talent and score tries from all over the field.
“I think that the style of rugby that we will bring to Bond University and to premier grade is going to be really exciting for the players to play in and also for our spectators to watch and hopefully get some success with it.”
Anderson reiterated that they are aiming for nothing short of finals in premier grade – a feat they are yet to achieve since switching moniker from the Breakers to Bond.
Bond’s bid for redemption starts in their season-opener at home to Wests on March 24.
