Icy plane poo falls from sky

AN icy ball weighing more than 12kg that fell on an Indian village is believed to be frozen human waste leaked from an aeroplane.

The 12.7kg chunk of ice landed on Fazilpur Badli village, Gurgaon outside of New Delhi in the country’s north with a “big thud”, shocked residents said.

Villagers are believed to have kept pieces of the ball, believing it was special.

Gurgaon official Vivek Kalia told the BBC villagers thought it was an “extraterrestrial” object.
