Sharks get extra help

THE Southport Sharks NEAFL team have enlisted the help of performance improvement company Leading Teams to unearth their leadership group and instil a culture that could deliver a flag this year.

Leading Teams chief Simon Fletcher – who has worked with the Gold Coast Suns in recent years – met the Sharks playing group and coaches last weekend to begin a program designed to improve the culture and leadership at the club and ultimately improve results.

New Sharks coach Steve Daniel used the group during his time at Carlton and believed it would have a positive impact on the club.

“They come in, drive standards and are very good,” Daniel said.
