FISHING

Seaway: Blue marlin and yellowfin tuna on Continental Shelf, mahii mahi, wahoo and small black marlin in 50-70m, Spanish mackerel on the 18s and 24s, Mermaid and Palm Beach reefs. Tailor, trevally and mulloway in Southport Seaway. Flathead, grunter bream in the Coomera River, sand whiting near the Pimpama River mouth

Jumpinpin: Spanish mackerel and small black marlin wide of the Pin Bar, tailor in the surf at South Stradbroke, bream and flathead along Kalinga Bank and flathead in Jacobs Well Channel.

Broadwater: Mangrove jack at Runaway Bay, Sovereign Island and Coomera and Nerang Rivers. Mud crabs in the rivers and sand crabs at the northern end of the Broadwater.

Beaches: Good catches for dart, whiting and chopper tailor at all beaches. Tweed Offshore: Spanish and spotty mackerel at dawn and dusk at Tweed Nine Mile.
