This entire project is horrifying. Despite enormous public outrage the GCCC & Turf Club are determined to destroy our beloved Black Swan Lake & condemn all its precious inhabitants to a horrible death. Many of the lake dwellers will be homeless & traumatised & many more will be buried alive. Shameful.

The derogatory term “borrow pit” used by some councillors is based on a lie. There has been wetland there before white man settled the area. Maps show a water body there in the late 1800s.
