IT started out as an idea to give everyday folk the chance to ride in a fire truck. Richie Cunningham, (yes he knows about Happy Days), began Fire 4 Hire five years ago and since then the business has grown enormously. “I now have nine trucks working in the business with another eight at home which are collectibles. We get to do everything from formals, weddings, parties and even divorce celebrations. If I did the wedding I do offer a discount for the divorce – it seems only fair,” quipped Richie (above). “My absolute favourite thing to do though is children’s parties.
