Give your bright idea a shot at being realised
HAVE you got a bright idea that you think will benefit your local regional community, but just need a little help to make it happen?
If so, the Regional Australia Institute (RAI) is encouraging you to get online and enter the 2018 Lightbulb Moments Competition – with applications now open.
The aim of the competition is to capture the best ideas for community and regional development across Australia and help the winner and finalists make them a reality.
Last year, more than 150 entries came in from across Australia and RAI CEO Jack Archer anticipates this year’s competition will attract just as many bright ideas.
Mr Archer said an idea could be anything from “just a thought” through to a fullydeveloped project that is already under way.
The top 10 entries will win a dedicated Project Development Support Package and the national winner will also get a promotions package
Entries need to be submitted to the RAI by February 11 with the national winner to be announced in early April.
Last year’s winner was Sam Marwood from Cultivate Farms in Albury.
