Coast ‘mail’ on Toll base

AMONG the ‘mail’ floating around the traps is that transport major Toll Holdings, now owned by Japan Post, might be poised to get a major Gold Coast distribution base.

The mooted site is within the former Colgate Palmolive property at Arundel, which was bought by the Macquariebacked LOGOS group and a partner for $22 million three months ago. Toll and LOGOS already have done business that includes the development of a 70,000sq m centre for Toll in Sydney.
