Ivory hero murdered
ONE of the world’s leading investigators of the illegal trade in ivory and rhino horn has been killed in
Kenya. Esmond Bradley Martin, a Kenya-based American conservationist, was found stabbed to death in his Nairobi home, authorities said.
The motive for the killing of Bradley Martin, 75, was unclear. There was no immediate suggestion from authorities of a link to his work, which often delved into the illegal activities of traders and traffickers in ivory and rhino horn.
