FESTIVAL’S WOW FACTOR

GC2018 organisers will use the most diverse Games of all time to champion the cause of gender equality in Queensland.

The WOW (Women of the World) Festival will be held at Brisbane Powerhouse in April as part of Festival 2018.

WOW will explore issues faced by those working towards a more gender-equal society. There will be a range of activities and workshops featuring guest speakers, circus, Bollywood and African dance, woodwork, skateboarding, performances from Hot Brown Honey, Emily Wurramara and the world premiere of VEIQIA21 by VOU Dance Fiji.
