Interesting to see that the parks in Robina are now being cut weekly in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games. Before now, it took numerous phone calls to get the council to cut them. Compulsory swimming lesson in schools does more than teach children to swim ... give most children something to look forward to each week ... water takes the sting out of defiant attitudes especially boys ... disperses pent up energies which is good for individual and schools ... most young parents are flat out working to pay the mortgage and is not high on priority list ... bring back compulsory swim in schools BWM

Very disappointed no write ups about the AFL women’s results and games in Monday sports reports in the Bulletin ... these ladies are doing a great thing for our national sport and they play it hard ... come on Bulletin give them the recognition they deserve, it’s not all about the tennis, cricket and soccer!!
