Cladding warning

APARTMENT owners and those intending to purchase off the plan are being warned to tick off due diligence when it comes to flammable cladding concerns.

According to architect’s advisory service Archicentre Australia, there have been a number of events involving flammable cladding in Melbourne and multistorey buildings in other cities could be susceptible to similar risks.

Owners and buyers are encouraged to seek independent assessment to satisfy any safety concerns.
