Break-in: Man held

AN INJURED man wanted on a string of offences has been arrested by police after trying to break into a unit complex.

The man was found by police on Monaco St, Surfers Paradise, just before 3.30am Wednesday after reports of a break-in at a unit block. The man was allegedly already injured due to a previous scuffle and an ambulance was called. He had minor lacerations. A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said the man was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition and remains there under police guard.
