EARN YOUR STRIPES AND HELP NAME THESE BUNDLES OF FUR

- AMANDA ROBBEMOND

WHAT to name these two gorgeous, cheeky cubs?

That’s the question on everybody’s lips.

The two female tiger cubs, born at Dreamworld to 14year-old Nika last month, have awed their handlers as they continue to pile on the weight and grow. But now it’s time to give the pair names – and you could help.

Dreamworld is giving locals the chance to name the adorable pair and are compiling a list for the tiger handlers to later choose from.

A spokeswoman for Dreamworld said while it was a little early to see what their personalities were like, they spent “their days sleeping and eating”.

“They have both opened their eyes and are happily starting to explore their home,” she said.

“The Tiger Island handlers are very happy with their progress and say they are growing very well.”

The cubs weigh 2.91kg and 3.01kg respectively.

The spokeswoman said Russian names were preferred, but all names would be considered.

The winning names will be announced on Monday.
