BIG BLUES PUT YOUNGSTERS IN HOG HEAVEN

BIG name Auckland Blues figures have brightened Helensvale’s Gold Coast District Rugby Union sign-on.

The Hogs were yesterday graced with the presence of the Super Rugby franchise’s coach Tana Umaga – an All Blacks legend – as well as captain Jimmy Tupou, forward Akira Ioane and Brisbane Tens wildcard Carlos Spencer.

“The kids loved it,” Helensvale president Karl Wernham said of the meet and greet session.
