DAVID’S ARTISTIC MUSCLES FLEXED

THE star of the show at the Ellipsis movie was David Wenham. Quizzed how he enjoyed the process of being captain/ coach of the movie as the writer, producer and director, he replied: “Creatively I found it very fulfilling. It was a fantastic opportunity to flex my artistic muscles.” Would he ask Chris Nyst if there could be a sequel to Getting Straight – let’s call it Son of Spit – after his legendary characterisation? With a grin he replied, “I’ll see what I can do.”
